Acid Rain Production is very pleased to present "Thrashed", by Thad Kellstadt. Thad is a Chicago-based interdisciplinary artist, and grass roots curator who has also spent much time in the Pittsburgh art community. About this piece, he writes, "As skateboarding and BMX biking gained popularity, the subcultures that surrounded them gained exposure. Picking up on the larger conflict that exists between two worlds whenever popular entertainment tries to synthesize with underground culture, 'Thrashed' reclaims the footage, confusing it through a psychedelic lens in an attempt to distill some of the original spirit."

Kellstadt's work has been shown internationally and he has produced a number of amazing artists zines, including a book of poetry and short stories titled "Somewhere between just kidding and the emergency room". (Dutch Press, 2008)
